First Footings is a unique construction skills training initiative in East Brighton, launched by Constructing Futures, with the support of City College Brighton & Hove, to train young people aged 16-24 years who are not in education, employment or training, and adults who are long-term unemployed or who face barriers to employment.

By simulating real on-site conditions, First Footings will give enthusiastic individuals the chance to gain hands-on experience of different aspects of general building and construction, including bricklaying, plastering, carpentry, plumbing and tiling.
